Position Overview
As Project Implementation Coordinator, you will support the successful execution of donor-funded and government-led projects. Working closely with our Project Development Manager and sectoral partners, you will ensure projects are deployed on time, on budget, and with the expected impact.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role involving coordination with experts, consultants, institutions, and internal teams across Cambodia. It requires field engagement, travel to provinces, and a genuine interest in being close to the realities on the ground.
What You’ll Do:
- Project Execution: Coordinate day-to-day implementation of development projects across sectors.
- Expert & Consultant Management: Liaise with local and international experts involved in projects, and assist in recruitment, onboarding, and coordination.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as operational liaison with Cambodian public institutions and international development partners.
- Planning & Reporting: Support development of project workplans, track deliverables, and contribute to reporting (technical and financial).
- Logistics & Event Support: Assist in organizing field visits, workshops, training sessions, and missions in support of project activities.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with Concorde’s support departments (admin, finance, HR, communication) to ensure seamless operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Profile: Early-career professionals are welcome to apply — as long as you bring commitment, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn. Prior experience in project implementation, development cooperation, or coordination roles is a plus.
- Education: Degree in project management, international development, public policy, or a related field.
- Languages: Native Khmer speaker is required. Excellent command of English (spoken and written). French is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational and coordination skills, digital fluency, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Mindset: Proactive, hands-on, adaptable, and eager to be involved in fieldwork. You should be comfortable with and excited by regular travel to provinces and direct engagement with local partners and communities.
- Availability: Immediate.
