A large international company in the water and waste management sectors is looking to expand its Cambodian operations. This company specializes in consulting and engineering services, especially tied to environmental transitions, ecological sustainability, water cycles, waste, urban development, etc.
Position Overview:
We are recruiting an Electrical & Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team on a permanent basis. The role involves supportingthe design, review, and integration of electro-mechanical systems in relation to water supply and sanitation infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
- Support the design, specification, and optimization of electro-mechanical systems for pumping stations, treatment plants, and distribution facilitie
- Assist in preparing and reviewing electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and mechanical equipment specifications.
- Perform calculations related to pump and motor sizing, control panels, energy efficiency, and auxiliary systems.
- Review and comment on contractors’ shop drawings, equipment data sheets, and technical submittals.
- Contribute to technical notes, reports, and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with civil, hydraulic, and network specialists to ensure full integration of electro-mechanical systems.
- Apply and promote health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the design, installation, or supervision of electro-mechanical systems
- Proficiency in reviewing and preparing design drawings and equipment specifications.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, switchgear, control systems, and SCADA.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Conditions:
- Location: Based in Phnom Penh, with occasional field visits and possible travel.
