As Marketing and Communication Director, reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will lead a team of four professionals. Your role is central to defining and implementing the company’s marketing and communication strategies, both in Cambodia and across the Greater Mekong Subregion.
You will be responsible for driving our marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and support the successful launch and coordination of projects. As these projects grow, you will work closely with dedicated teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness in their ongoing development. Your ability to navigate intercultural environments and bridge diverse perspectives will be critical to the role.
• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans that align with Confluences’ growth objectives, emphasizing regional expansion in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
• Create strategies to strengthen brand positioning, increase visibility, and attract clients in diverse markets.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify unique opportunities for Confluences and its ventures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute campaigns that resonate with varied audiences and respect cultural differences.
• Oversee the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for newly launched projects, ensuring seamless handover to dedicated teams as these projects evolve.
• Establish processes for managing the company’s branding across all activities and platforms, maintaining consistency in visual identity and messaging.
• Use data and insights to evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives and continuously refine strategies.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and creativity across all levels of the organization.
• Build and manage strong relationships with external partners, ensuring effective and timely delivery of marketing campaigns.
• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Business Administration (an MBA is a plus).
• At least 8 years of experience in marketing and communication, including leadership roles and experience managing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
• Strong understanding of regional and intercultural dynamics, with the ability to adapt strategies to different markets.
• Proven ability to design and execute impactful marketing strategies that balance digital and traditional approaches.
• Experience in conducting market analysis and competitive research to inform decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of fostering collaboration in diverse, cross-functional environments.
• Proficiency in English is essential; French is a significant advantage, and proficiency in an Asian language is a strong asset.
