Position Summary:

In this role, you'll be leading all aspects of human resources operations for a large retail industry player, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and more. This role involves developing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with Cambodian labor laws, managing a team, maintaining HR policies and systems, and fostering a positive workplace culture to promote employee engagement and retention.

What you'll do:

•   Lead and manage all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compensation and benefits.

•   Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall business objectives.

•   Ensure compliance with all relevant Cambodian labor laws and regulations.

•   Manage a team of HR/Admin professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective HR service delivery.

•   Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.

•   Oversee the administration of HRIS and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.

•   Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.

•   Provide HR support and guidance to the management and employees on all HR-related matters.

•   Create strategies to strengthen brand positioning, increase visibility, and attract clients in diverse markets.

What we're looking for:

•   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

•   Proven experience as an HR Manager, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role.

•   Strong knowledge of Cambodian labor laws and regulations.

•   Excellent leadership and management skills.

•   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•   Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

•   Experience managing a workforce of approximately 150 employees.

•   Experience in retail industry is a strong plus.

•   Experience with HRIS systems implementation is a plus.

•   Khmer and English fluent, Chinese speaking is a plus.

This role is based in Phnom Penh with occasional travel to retail operation sites within the capital and neighbouring provinces. The employer, a large international retailer, will be disclosed only to those candidates who are selected for the first round of interview.
