Position Overview

‍

We seek an experienced and motivated Investment Analyst to join our Phnom Penh, Cambodia team. The Investment Analyst will lead efforts in analyzing and executing internal projects and evaluating third-party investment opportunities. The role involves building investment-ready decks, conducting market and consumer analysis, and preparing financial projections. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on projects within Cambodia and the Greater Mekong Subregion, contributing directly to Confluences Ventures' growth and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

‍

‍‍Financial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct thorough financial analyses of existing operations, third-party ventures, and joint ventures where Confluences holds equity. Develop and maintain financial models, including valuation models, to support investment decisions.‍
Due Diligence & Risk Assessment: Perform comprehensive due diligence and risk assessments for potential investments and partnerships.‍
Collaboration & Strategy: Collaborate with the Market Access department to align financial analysis with market trends and strategic goals. Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.‍
Reporting & Presentation: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Monitor and analyze investment financial performance and provide actionable insights.‍
Initiative & Opportunity Identification: Identify new investment opportunities and strategies for value creation. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.‍
Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting investments.

What We’re Looking For:

‍

‍‍Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.‍
Experience: Proven experience in financial modeling, analysis, research, and project management.‍
Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.‍
Language: Proficiency in Khmer and a good command of English; French is a plus.‍
Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis software.‍
