To assist in our development and reach our goals, Confluences Ventures is actively looking for an eager and ambitious M&A and Investment Analyst Intern to join our team.

Duties

‍

As an M&A analyst Intern, you will project in assessing and executing internal initiatives as well as analyzing investment opportunities. This role also involves assisting in building investment-ready decks, conducting market and consumer analysis, and preparing financial projections on projects; and coordinating closely with the in-charged leader.

What you’ll do

‍

• Support the assessment and execution of investment and M&A opportunities.
• Build investment-ready presentations, pitch decks, and information memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuations, and market research to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the in-charged leader and Head of the Department.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful project implementation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting investments.

What we're looking for:

‍

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.  
• Proficiency in English is required, French, Chinese or Khmer would be a great plus.
• Knowledge in financial modeling and valuation techniques is a plus.
• Personality: Integrity, respect, and sense of responsibility, organized, highly reactive& adaptable, committed, result-oriented, and of good spirit.
